Union Square Kids has acquired, at auction, world English rights to The Hidden Dominion of Geordie James, a middle grade graphic novel by Eisner-nominated author-illustrator Mike Dawson. Pitched as a neurodiverse Charlotte’s Web meets The Breakfast Club, the story follows an anxious sixth grader assigned a group science project as a final chance of improving his grades when a pig escapes a local slaughterhouse, calling into question our place in this world and our relationship with what we can and can’t control. Publication is scheduled for spring 2026. Gordon Warnock brokered the deal.
